Driving in? Set your GPS to 171 North Garland Court, Chicago, IL 60601. Here, you can unload your luggage and inquire about check-in. If your room isn’t available yet, our bellman will be happy to store your luggage for you.
To park your car, meet us at the hotel loading zone at 171 North Garland Court.
From the loading zone, you will see the Self Park Garage we are partnered with, located at 20 E. Randolph, where you can park your vehicle.
- For in-and-out privileges, you will need to prepay online. The front desk agent will provide you with the necessary link when you enter the garage. The rate is $55 for 24hrs
- If you do not need in-and-out privileges, simply retrieve a ticket from the garage, park your car, and bring the ticket to the front desk for validation. You will pay at the garage when you depart. The rate is $40 per 24hrs for up to 3 days
Your stay in Chicago
The minimum check-in age at Arlo Chicago is 21 years old. Guest will be required to present a valid photo ID, in addition to their method of payment at check-in.
Yes! Arlo Chicago is family friendly. Any guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older to check-in.
Check-in time is at 4pm. If you arrive earlier, we are happy to store your luggage for you so you can get out an explore. You are able to check-in up until midnight. Please contact the front desk if you plan to arrive after midnight. Email us at [email protected]
Early check-in can be added, based on availability.
- Between 9am-12pm – $50
Check-out time is 11am. Late check-out can be added for a fee, based on availability.

Yes! The Arlo Chicago fitness center is equipped with a Peloton Bike, Bluetooth-enabled Star Trac Recumbent Bike, plus a TRX and Nautilus Cable Machine.
Yes, up to two (2) dogs or cats per room, each under 75lbs, may stay with their humans for the duration of their stay. There will be a fee of $20 pre-tax per pet, per night charged in addition to the standard room rate. All animals must be registered with the front desk upon arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot at this time permit animals other than dogs or cats in any capacity.

The hotel will receive guests’ packages starting three (3) days prior to arrival. The first five (5) packages received are complementary if under 50 lbs.
All additional packages which weigh between
- 1lb – 49 lbs. will be charged at $10.00 each
- 50lbs. – 99 lbs. will be charged at $25.00 each
- Over 100lbs. will be charged at $75.00 each.
Up to (20) Packages allowed before rental fee storage area is needed. We deliver packages daily to our guests between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. For immediate package assistance while on property, please contact the front desk or concierge and we can arrange to have the packages delivered immediately.
Should guests need packages to be stored prior to arrival, there is a $5/day holding fee for guests who have not checked in.
The hotel will authorize unpaid room, tax, urban fees as well as a $100/day, up to 3-days, security deposit at the time of check-in. Your final bill will be applied against the authorization and any remaining authorization overage will be released upon check-out. Depending on bank processing times, the release of funds in your account could take up to 30 days. Use of debit cards is discouraged.
The urban fee is $25 + tax per room per night will be added to all reservations in additional to the nightly rate. The urban fee allows us to ensure that we are providing the best accommodation to our guests and include the below benefits:

- Access to 24-hour fitness center
- Access to Alo Moves on-demand
- Ride with DIVVY Bikes, up to a $10 daily credit for each guest

Bookings, Changes, and Cancellations
Our change and cancellation terms vary per type of booking, but many of our rates are fully cancellable when you book on our website, up to 24 hours before arrival.

Rooms
We have 217 rooms with king-sized beds or two double-sized beds. Check out our rooms page for more details and pictures. We do have connecting rooms based on availability, please do contact [email protected] if you’d like to book two adjoining rooms. We do not have rollaway beds or sofa sleepers.
Yes, cribs and pack-and-plays are available through the front desk.
