How we’re celebrating National Wellness Month

August may be the final month of summer but don’t let the end-of-season scaries get you down. August also happens to be National Wellness Month, making it the perfect time to try a new workout or find your Zen with a friendly meditation session. Whether you’re a local in NYC, Miami, or Washington DC, or just passing through on your summer travels, you can count on finding a variety of wellness activities at Arlo Hotels. It’s one of the brand’s key pillars, after all—and one we showcase to all our guests via our partnership with Alo Moves.

SoHo Sundays

Midtown Mindfulness

  • Saturdays: Find serenity with Mindful Movement & Meditation every Saturday from 9am at ART Midtown. Wellness instructor will lead you through somatic yoga, guided sound meditation, and grounding breathwork—releasing stress and helping you find your center. The first Saturdays of the month are free!

NoMad Nurturing

  • Fri, 8/8: Club Rewire – Summer of Wellness. Come by for a casual lecture about how hormonal shifts can impact mood, memory, and focus. Chase the science with a mocktail or cocktail.
  • Sun, 8/10: The Studio Experience: Mental Wellness Amid the Noise. Reset with a special rooftop edition of The Mental Wellness Workout, featuring: Vinyasa yoga led by Tim Potter; therapist-led journaling with Johanna Bellorin (NYC Psychotherapy Collective); meditation; plus wellness giveaways and mini facials.
  • Fri, 8/15: Mindful Morning Journaling. An empowering morning of meditation, journaling, and goal setting.

Brooklyn Beats + Breathwork

  • Fridays: Enjoy YO BK Rooftop Yoga every Friday morning at ART Williamsburg. This low-impact, slow-paced session is perfect for all levels.

Miami Moves

  • Mondays: Karma Yoga is hosted by Camila Palomeque, founder of @welnnessmusesocialclub every Monday evening in the Higher Ground Courtyard. DJ Tropiks sets the vibe.
  • Thursdays: YO BK Pilates + HIIT is a great way to wind down on Thursday nights on Arlo Wynwood’s Yoga Deck
  • Sat, 8/2 & 8/16: Perreo Pilates. Enjoy a mindful mat Pilates class with Pilates Pros cofounder Nicole at Higher Ground. Attendees get 20% off brunch that day at Wyn Wyn.
  • Sun, 8/3: Stakt x Alexa Katz Full Body Sculpt. Higher Ground hosts Stakt and Alexa Katz for this full-body mat class using resistance bands. Don’t forget your goodie bag post-workout!

Washington DC Wellness

  • Saturdays: R&B Yoga With Tara Aura. Saturday mornings are about flow, freedom, and feeling good in these weekly yoga classes set to a smooth R&B soundtrack.
  • Sun, 8/10 & 8/24: Bad Bish Fitness Rooftop Residency Series. These Sunday morning strength and sculpt sessions are hosted by Bad Bish founder Lindsay Bishop. Enjoy the live DJ and a post-class hang with goodie bags.
