Pioneer Exhibitions from Mindbender Art, ThankYouX and other artists. Parties. NFT Drops. Miami Art Week is always a flurry of activities and this year was no exception with Arlo Wynwood’s debut at Art Week:

On Tuesday, November 29, Arlo Wynwood presented “The Unknown Zone,” by Brooke Einbender, a.k.a Minbender Art, an installation featuring reclaimed doors that bridge the physical and digital. The night included the artist sharing her story and a live NFT drop on SuperRare, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Ocean Rescue Alliance. “The Unknown Zone” remains on view at Arlo Wynwood through to the New Year.

On Wednesday, November 30, the hotel hosted the launch of “STATE OF THE ART,” a large-scale hybrid installation by artist ThankYouX, a leader in the NFT space. “STATE OF THE ART” consists of four paintings broken into 400 equal tiles, creating 1600 uniquely paired physical and digital artworks. ThankYouX was on hand for an interview conducted by Jessica Santiago, founder and CEO of Art Republic Global. A reception followed, as guests mingled and checked out the spectacular collection.

Then, on Saturday, December 3, Arlo Wynwood hosted the final weekend of Miami Art Week with an Immersive Art Experience featuring All-Female Artists. The event, presented in partnership with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, included live painting, a DJ set by @therealgoosebumps, and appearances by artists, Alexandra Stark, Mikayla Growick, Cat Lallier, Florencia Clement de Grandprey and Rufina Magafurova.

The week of firsts was just the beginning of Arlo Wynwood’s involvement in the art world. Stay tuned for news of upcoming shows, artist talks and more at the hotel’s Gallery and beyond.
